Individual-Level Analyses with Series of Cross-Sectional Data

Description

This one-day training workshop for faculty and students will provide established and innovative methods for conducting micro-level analyses with series of cross-sectional data.

Multiple surveys often ask similar or identical questions of samples that represent the same population at different points in time, and other data can take the same form. Longitudinal analyses of these data are inappropriate because the data do not follow individuals over time. In the training workshop, researchers will provide examples of how these types of data are structured and will cover alternative methodological approaches to conduct individual-level analyses with series of cross-sectional survey data.
