Cook's Distance and Beyond: A Conference Celebrating the Contributions of R. Dennis Cook

Session Description

This two-day conference in honor of longtime and distinguished School of Statistics faculty member R. Dennis Cook. The conference will focus on the many areas of research in which Dennis has made pioneering contributions. Presentations will be given by his former students and colleagues, emphasizing the impact that Dennis has had on the various subfields of statistics.

Poster Session

We invite all interested participants and conference attendees to submit a poster proposal for this event. Students, colleagues, and collaborators who have worked with Professor Cook are especially encouraged, including second and third-generation pupils. 


If you are traveling from out of town we recommend that you stay at the Graduate Hotel, located a short distance from the conference site. Alternatively, stay in one of these nearby options.
